Hank Johnson- A racist and bigot?

Since we're talking about Middle East policy I will say that the abundant number of contributors to Ms. Mckinney's campaign have Palestinian and Arabic surnames now I could accuse her of being under the control of terrorists

This is what Hank Johnson said in a debate on Thursday night. Am I the only person who thinks that this is the most racist and bigoted statement I have heard from a candidate. Can we really count on him to represent Georgia well in DC? No matter what your take is on Middle East Policy, it is outrageous and despicable to imply that every person of Arabic or Palestinian Descent is a terrorist. I would expect this from a Republican but definitely not a Democrat. Here is a link to the video as well as the clip itself.

Nope, you're not alone in your reaction. Sad to say a lot supposed Democrats in this State have such a profound antipathy for Congresswoman McKinney that they are willing to parrot any rightwing meme, however vile, if they think it might wound her politically.

Exactly how is Hank Johnson going defend the rights and liberties of his Islamic constituents now? There are more than a few such folks in his district, something Congresswoman McKinney is aware of even if Hank is not.

Who are the 18 Muslims who gave over $14,000 to Cynthia McKinney on 9/11/2001? Why did they give her money on that day? What did they expect in return?

Just questions. If McKinney gets to ask why white people, Republicans and developers are donating to Johnson, then I think its a fair question.

There was no question, just a statement. Mr. Johnson insinuated that all Palestinians and Arabs were terrorists.

And as far as the contributions...
1. Anyone who ever worked on a campaign knows that you can receive a bundle of checks on one day due to a previous event. Maybe someone was raising money for her and they received a bundle of checks on September 11th in the mail. Perhaps there was an email or letter solicitation that went out before hand and it just so happened that these donations came in on the same day. My question would be, what other contributions came in that day?

3. The congresswoman has never mentioned white donors, only Republicans and developers. The truth of the matter is that all Hell would break loose if she said that Mr. Johnson was being funded by segregationist, lynch mobs. (just an example, im not insinuating anything).
